The Star Terra Tarot Card

Terra Tarot Deck Feature

This new feature presents an electronic version of my new Terra Tarot Deck, one card at a time. The thirty-third card available for download is the number 17th card in the Major Arcana, The Star.

Terra Tarot Deck - The Star

The symbology used in my rendition of the Star shows a lovely woman who embodies the character of the bright pure white star, who emerges from the still waters, since the Star is also known as the Daughter of the Firmament and the Dweller Between the Waters. She connects the water and earth elements of Gaia with the celestial elements of star dust and star birthings.

The Star is a symbol of new hope and glad tidings, especially in relation to the future. This card is considered a very good sign when drawn in a Tarot reading, since she brings the energy of good luck, promise, cleansing, healing, and dreams and promises fulfilled. She encourages us to reconnect with the purity of our own inner light, to dare to dream boldly and without fear, to learn to "wish upon a star" and truly believe that our intention will become real in the future. Her message is to be calm, hopeful, self confident, yet humble and you will achieve what you truly believe in and envision for yourself.

Since the theme of this deck is Terra, our Mother Earth, I elected to begin this illustration using a beautiful moonlit night time, water and mountain landscape that showcases young soft looking mountains that dip deep into calm deep waters. Beneath the Star rests a decorative Merkaba which represents the metaphysical spirit "vehicle" that becomes activated as we balance our chakras, meridians, and lifeforce. To either side of the Merkaba hang the Aquarius symbol to the left, and the female gender symbol to the right, since the Star card is considered to be feminine in nature and is ruled by the astrological sign, Aquarius.

I am presenting an online version of the Terra Deck for our Bella readers. Just click on the banner below to download your copy of the Star. Right click on the image that comes up and save to your selected folder.
