Micato collaborates with its non-profit arm, AmericaShare. Founded twenty years ago by Micato Safaris, AmericaShare now supports about two thousand children in schools and orphanages throughout East Africa.

Statistics drawn from AIDS organizations estimate that 24.5 million people are living with HIV/AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa. Additionally, as a result of the AIDS pandemic, a huge number of youth have been left orphaned. Currently, there are 1.1 million AIDS orphans in Kenya.
Micato Safaris funds the mission of AmericaShare in order to offer help to youth and adults touched by poverty and AIDS in Kenya.
