Jewel in Shower Jigsaw Puzzle

I thought you might like to do a jigsaw puzzle of my CAG Jewel having a shower.

As always, you can make this easier (or harder) by changing the size and shape of puzzle pieces. You may have to scroll over to get the whole puzzle in your screen.

Jewel is a Congo African Grey Parrot - or CAG for short. African Grey Parrots are one of the best talking birds, with voices that are normally quite clear and that sound just like their owner's voice. If there is more than one person in your household, they may have more than one voice.

Of course, not all African Grey Parrots will talk. Some will whistle more or make more sound effects, like the telephone or the microwave oven or a squeeky door. Jewel does a perfect imitation of a car alarm every day as I am locking the door and heading out for work or errands. I do not have a car alarm, but obviously someone in the neighbourhood does.

Jewel does not normally enjoy her showers, although she did seem to be having fun when I took this picture. Greys can be very dusty birds and frequent showers are necessary to keep their feathers clean as well as to keep the dust in the house down to a more manageable amount. If the showers are too infrequent, you will notice that the feathers hardly seem to get wet even after several minutes of shower time.

After the shower, Jewel likes to sit in the sun and preen her feathers to get them back the way she likes them.
