This new feature presents an electronic version of my new Terra Tarot Deck, one card at a time. The thirty-fifth card available for download is the number 19 card in the Major Arcana, The Sun.

The symbology used in my rendition of the Sun is a warm old type-face style of sun, glowing above a tranquil, lazy summer water and beach. Below the sun, two innocent young children play, carefree and happy on this warm sunny day.
The Sun is a symbol of happiness, joy, gaiety, and carefree enjoyment of the simple pleasures of life. Itis the perfect card to represent today's first day of summer (in the Northern Hemisphere at least), reminding us all to relax and find each moment of our lives precious and magical. The Sun helps us to tune into our inner creativity and our Spirit - it reminds us to live life with every fiber of our being. To BE HERE NOW!
Since the theme of this deck is Terra, our Mother Earth, I elected to begin this illustration using a tranquil, sunny beach scene. Below the Sun rests a decorative Merkaba which represents the metaphysical spirit "vehicle" that becomes activated as we balance our chakras, meridians, and life force. The symbol of the Sun lies in the upper left corner, and to the right lies the male gender symbol since the Sun vibrates with masculine power. A single dove flies through the air above the children, signifying harmony, peace and new hope.
I am presenting an online version of the Terra Deck for our Bella readers. Just click on the banner below to download your copy of the Sun. Right click on the image that comes up and save to your selected folder.
