The Judgement Terra Tarot Card

Terra Tarot Deck Feature

This new feature presents an electronic version of my new Terra Tarot Deck, one card at a time. The thirty-seventh card available for download is the number 20 card in the Major Arcana, Judgement.

Terra Tarot Deck - Judgement

The symbology used in my rendition of the Judgement card is a benevolent angel calling the people below to engage in soul searching and a review of their lives thus far. She peers down on the three people who stand along a tranquil, lazy summer water and beach. The three people implore the angel to help them to come to terms with their prior actions and decisions and to move past their frailties so they can humbly yet confidently walk along their true Life Path.

The Judgement card symbolizes Life Review, Self Judgement, and coming to terms with the nuances of our beings. Some feel it symbolizes Judgement Day, but I support those who see it as an inner process that helps us to refine our natures, not in a harsh judgmental way, but in a gentle, supportive, and insightful manner. This card also symbolizes the fruitation of a project or way of living which then opens us up to new ventures and modes of expression.

Since the theme of this deck is Terra, our Mother Earth, I elected to begin this illustration using a tranquil, sunny beach scene. Above the angel and people rests a decorative Merkaba which represents the metaphysical spirit "vehicle" that becomes activated as we balance our chakras, meridians, and lifeforce. The symbol for Fire lies in the upper left corner. To the right the Pluto symbol represents the planetary ruler of this Card. A single dove flies through the air above the people, signifying harmony, peace and new hope.

I am presenting an online version of the Terra Deck for our Bella readers. Just click on the banner below to download your copy of the Judgement card. Right click on the image that comes up and save to your selected folder.
