This new feature presents an electronic version of my new Terra Tarot Deck, one card at a time. The thirty-ninth card available for download is the Ace of Wands.



The symbology used in my rendition of the Ace of Wands is a single regal golden wand sitting in solitary splendor against a gorgeous evening backdrop. Fiery stars sparkle around the wand, with a fiery neon spiral in the background, signifying the origin of life, and new beginnings.

The Ace of Wands card symbolizes just that - new beginnings, fresh starts, and sometimes, the birth of a new baby. This card also speaks of creativity and possibilities - if it comes up in a reading, it is considered a very positive card if upright. It tells the querant to be courageous, daring, dynamic and enthusiasm - that these traits will pay off in better business, advanced career or good luck in finances. If you can believe in yourself, give your all, and have faith in what you are doing, you are bound to succeed!

Since the theme of this deck is Terra, our Mother Earth, I elected to begin this illustration using a brilliant fiery sunset scene, along a calm river bank, edged with beautiful steep mountains. Above the single wand rests a decorative Merkaba which represents the mtaphysical spirit "vehicle" that becomes activated as we balance our chakras, meridians, and lifeforce. The symbol for Fire and Maleness lie to the lest and right bottom corners. A single dove flies through the air above the wand, signifying harmony, peace and new hope.
