Canary Jigsaw Puzzle

Guest Author - Mavis Metcalf

A pretty canary makes a great jigsaw puzzle for you to put together. Thanks to Mark Bradka for allowing me to use this picture.

As always, you may have to scroll over to get the whole puzzle on your computer window. You can make this easier (or harder) by changing the size and shape of puzzle pieces.

Canaries make wonderful companions. The cheerful song of the male canary can brighten most people's days and the happy chirp of the female canary can do the same.

Many people will open the cage door so their canary can flutter about the room when it is safe to do so. Obviously this would not be when you have a dog or cat in the same room since canaries are not fast flyers and would be easy prey.

You can find several good canary books at Avian Publications.

Amazon.com is also a good source of canary books.
