This new feature presents an electronic version of my new Terra Tarot Deck, one card at a time. The fortieth card available for download is the Two of Wands.



The symbology used in my rendition of the Two of Wands is a royal figure holding two golden wands up in her hands, framed against a gorgeous evening backdrop. Brilliant stars sparkle from the tips of the wands, with a fiery neon spiral in the background, signifying the origin of life, and new beginnings.

The Two of Wands card symbolizes boldness, originality, strong (almost fierce) personal power, an attitude of command that deserves respect from others. This card tells you that it is time to take the initiative, to "seize the day" so to speak, be who you are - you are an original! It is time to face your fears, and to realize that you CAN manifest what you want in your own reality...but you must take command of your own decisions and Path. This is not the time to be a lurker: it is time for courage, daring, and genuine self confidence.

Since the theme of this deck is Terra, our Mother Earth, I elected to begin this illustration using a brilliant fiery sunset scene, along a calm river bank, edged with beautiful steep mountains. Above the figure and two wands rests a decorative Merkaba which represents the metaphysical spirit "vehicle" that becomes activated as we balance our chakras, meridians, and lifeforce. The symbol for Fire and Maleness lie to the left and right bottom corners. A single dove flies through the air above the wand, signifying harmony, peace and new hope.
