Red Faced Parrot Finch Jigsaw Puzzle

A beautiful pair of Red Faced Parrot Finches allowed Terri Gennaccaro of Terri's Glamorous Gouldians to take their picture and she then allowed me to use this picture for a jigsaw puzzle.

As always, you may have to scroll over to get the whole puzzle in your computer window. You can make it harder (or easier) by changing the size and shape of puzzle pieces.

Parrot Finches are very active birds that need lots of space to keep busy. As with most finches, just because they are small does not mean that a small cage is acceptable for them. Parrot Finches, in fact are much happier in a flight or at the very least a large cage that gives them the opportunity to fly.

The Parrot Finches in the puzzle are known as either Red Faced or Red Headed. The Blue Faced or Blue Headed Parrot Finches are the next most common in this finch family, but there are other parrot finches that are not as available.

You can find more information on parrot finches by following the link below in the related articles section.

Thank you Terri, for the use of this picture.

Avian Publications has a great selection of books dealing with all kinds of pet birds, including specific species, general care, behavioral questions and so on.
Take a look and I am sure you will find something in their vast library of books and material.
