Budgie Jigsaw Puzzle

This beautiful English Budgie picture was submitted by my friend Louis Garwood for you to enjoy.

As always, you may have to scroll over to get the whole puzzle in view on your monitor. You can make this harder or easier, by changing the size and shape of puzzle pieces.

Budgies are amazing little birds. They have endless personality, are always cheerful and excited to see you and have wonderful talking potential. They come in a large variety of colours, are easily tamed and are great pets for all ages, from children to seniors.

Some people consider budgies to be starter birds with the intention of moving on to something larger once they know what bird keeping involves. Other people are so happy with a budgie that they never consider any other bird species for a pet. Some people do acquire larger parrots, but still keep budgies, just because they are such charmers.

Budgies can be kept with Cockatiels or Canaries as well as many of the parakeet species and some of the larger finches. Budgies are actually part of the parakeet family, but are one of the more aggressive ones, so care should be taken which parakeet you allow them to live with for the protection of the smaller and more docile ones.

Avian Publications has many great Budgie books for you to choose from.
