As your wedding day approaches, you will be fine-tuning the personal touches that will make your special day yours, and yours alone. You start looking for your make-up. Deciding on you’re going away outfit, picking your shoes, your gift for the groom and yes your scent.
When picking your scent there are a few key things to remember. Choose your scent wisely. Try your scent on weeks before the wedding; this will assure you have no allergic reactions to it. Sometimes when you are trying a new scent it makes your skin break out in bumps or a rash from the oils in the perfume. This would not make for a beautiful bride.
Secondly wear your scent around your wedding party, your future husband and anyone that will be coming in close contact with you on your special day. Yes even the Officiant or Minister. The last thing you need that day is to be wearing your beautiful scent, and someone is having a sneeze fest. (Yes it happens) You will be able to avert any problems and surprises.
One of the best reasons for playing around with scents, fragrances and oils, you don’t want to arrive after your scent does. You can adjust the amount you put on to reach the specified level you are looking for. You can learn how much to layer your fragrance choice, without overdoing it the day of your wedding. Remember oils are the strongest in smell where as sprays are usually the lightest.
The choices these days are absolutely endless. You can have everything from sweet pea to chocolate cherry. I feel the choices in scent should appeal to yourself first and your partner next. Prices range from a dollar to hundreds of dollars. If you are lucky enough to have a custom perfume maker locally, indulge in their services. You really won’t regret it. They can make your scent from any of your favorite fragrances and that would truly be your signature wedding day potion.
Just remember,t is always better to test things out before hand, and be safe. This will insure a very special day. Come on over to the forum and discuss your wedding day safeguards. Lets help everyone have a very special wedding. This is Sandra Sable signing off for now, and as always let's talk weddings.
