Kimberly told me "The budgies in the photo are (left to right) Pumpkin and Tori. Pumpkin is 2-1/2 yrs old and Tori is 3. They have been best friends since the day they met. They are the elders in a gang of seven."

Anyone who has ever had a budgie knows the wonderful personality of these little birds. They are friendly, outgoing and busy all the time. Budgies are one of the easiest birds to tame, especially if obtained while young. If you have only one budgies and it is a male, there is a good possibility that he will talk. Budgies can be exceptionally good talkers with large vocabularies, but can be difficult to understand due to the speed they talk.
