Bare-Eyed Cockatoo Jigsaw Puzzle
Charlie, the Bare-Eyed Cockatoo looks upset, but is just playing in the jigsaw puzzle picture submitted by Debbie Herrington.

It is obvious why these birds are called Bare-Eyed Cockatoos when looking at the bare skin area around Charlie's eye in this picture.

Bare-Eyed Cockatoos are friendly, curious and sometimes goofy birds. Charlie is 9 years old and is having lots of fun in this picture. The original picture has him beside a toy, but I thought it would be fun to concentrate on his beautiful head for this jigsaw puzzle.

When asked about Charlie, Debbie said "He loves Nutraberries, almonds in the shell, pistachios, eggs, shrimp, chicken and bread. He's not much for veggies or fruit. He used to say 15 different phases, but now he only says "Hello, Charlie", "Come Here" and "Step Up". He lives with his pal, Zedd, an African Grey parrot, in their Parrot Palace -- a room that gives them a great view of the "outside" birds and squirrels in the backyard and woods."
