Here is what Coleby has told me about Monty.

"Monty's favorite foods: Cheese/Wheat thins/baby spinach/green apples/grapes.
He likes to bathe on wet lettuce.
Monty is very curious - loves to roam around the house looking for me, but his favorite perch is the fire place screen (no fire of course) which is in the living room where he can hang out with his 'flock' (me and my boyfriend) while we watch TV or relax.
Monty loves attention and will run across the floor when I fall asleep on the couch; crawls up the side of the couch; climbs up on my shoulder and will fall asleep next to my face (sleeping on one foot with his head tucked in his back.) Yes, he's very spoiled!"

Cockatiels make wonderful pets. They are friendly and easily trained, even if not handfed - but absolute sweethearts if they have been handfed.
