Budgies Playing Jigsaw Puzzle

My friend Louis Garwood snapped this picture of some of his budgies having fun and he has allowed me to use it for a jigsaw puzzle.

As always, you may have to scroll over to get the whole puzzle in your computer window. You can make the puzzle harder (or easier) by changing the size and shape of puzzle pieces. Have fun - because these budgies are certainly having fun!

Budgies are flock birds. In the wild, they can be seen in flocks of hundreds of birds at a time. In the home, their flock can consist of their person or of other budgies - or both. They are happy with either type of flock, but unless you can spend plenty of time with your little feathered friend, it is best if they have at least one other budgie to play with.

Of course, several budgies means more noise than one budgie, and a happy flock of budgies can make a fair amount of noise as they play. They make such happy noises, that it is hard to find a problem with the sounds they make, but this is something you should think about before adding too many birds to your household.

As well as the extra noise, multiple birds also add more mess to the house - more feathers, more thrown food and more dust. If you love seeing your birds happy - you will love having multiple birds.
