One of the most challenging things about having a business is taking time away to shop during the holidays. I never seem to get the time to just go out and find really great and unique things for my family and friends, and sometimes end up buying gift cards or picking up something that I’m pretty sure will be returned.

Well, because I know how it is, I want to help you out by featuring an on-going gift guide that you can use to find great, unique gifts right from the comfort of your own office. I’ve grown to love shopping this way and I really love checking those names off of my list. Before checking out the first item, grab a pencil and sheet of paper and make your list. Write down the name of the person you want to shop for and what type of things they like. From now on, keep this list in your purse of wallet. This will help you make good choices when you are shopping on the run. Once you have you list make a decision to shop as you go. Don’t wait until later to come back to get the perfect gift you just saw for your sister. Chances are it won’t be there or you may forget where you found it. So put a gift container in the trunk of your car and just pick up things along the way. Or if you are ordering gifts that are featured here, just order them, and then you are done. The stress of waiting until the last minute can be overwhelming and take the fun out of the whole thing.
