In my last article, Winter Pink Makeup, I discussed how pretty pink makeup is in the winter. One other shade that stands out for those times when you have grown tired of neutrals, berries, and purples, is peach.

Peach is as pretty as its cousin, pink. Peach makeup will leave you with that just came from the beach, or vacation look. Peach makeup is very fresh, and is also very versatile. Whether your eyes are blue or brown you can where peach. The same goes for your hair color. Peach looks great on blonds, brunettes and redheads.

Here is a great color palette to try to refresh you winter makeup routine. Follow these easy steps for a great peach makeup look.

With a foundation brush apply your foundation only where you need it. Follow this by applying concealer to any dark under eye circles, and also to cover redness. Very lightly dust a shimmer bronzer on you cheeks, chin, brow, and nose. Be sure to use a large brush and use a light hand.

Look for eyeliner like Bobbi Brown’s Graphite Ink; this is gel eyeliner that is a charcoal grey with a small amount of sparkle. It’s important to have a small amount of sparkle in the eyeliner so the line doesn’t look matte. If you prefer you can use a charcoal grey sparkle eyeshadow with an eyeliner brush. I skip eyeliner on my bottom lashline to keep the look fresh.

You will only need one eyeshadow. Look for a copper gold blend. It should have a certain amount of brightness to it so the eyes pop. Apply with an eyeshadow brush or even your index finger. This is a very easy eyeshadow look to achieve and it looks amazing. Coat your top lashes with two coats of mascara.

Apply a soft peach blush to the apples of the cheeks. Simply swirl a large blush brush in a circular motion while smiling for any easy application.

Your lips need to be light so go for a peach, or even clear gloss and skip the lipstick. I use Prescriptives Neuron. It’s the perfect shade of peach and semi-sheer. An alternate option is to wear a light metallic lipstick like Lancôme’s Cashmere Beige. Do not go to dark on the lips; remember the look you are going for is fresh.

This is a very easy look to achieve to give you a break from your boring winter makeup routine. You will look fresh, glowing, and before you know it, summer will be here.
