When you’re looking for money articles, the latest information on stocks, real estate advice and other finance and banking information here are some of the best places to search on the Internet. Twenty-four hours a day seven days a week, you have financial information at your fingertips.
Here is a list of some of the best-known financial sites on the Internet. I am not personally endorsing any of these sites. This list is for information purposes only and is intended only as a resource guide.
Money.CNN.com – A combined effort of both CNN and Money Magazine to bring you articles and videos about business, stocks, the financial markets, investing, personal finance plus giving you a variety of financial tools.
SmartMoney.com – The online sister to Smart Money Magazine. You’ll find articles and information on investing, personal finance, spending and small business. Here’s an article title that caught my eye: Ten Things Gas Stations Won’t Tell You.
Kiplinger.com – I was reminded of this site when they began following me on Twitter. Areas on their site include: The Basics, Spending Wisely, Quizzes, Your Retirement, Investing, Starting Out and Editor’s Picks.
BusinessWeek.com – Covers financial information of interest mostly to business owners. Topics covered: Europe, Asia, Small Biz, Managing, B-School, Lifestyle. The emphasis is on finances and the business environment, although I can see many articles of interest to consumers.
WSJ.com – The Wall Street Journal is long known for its excellence in reporting and has brought that same excellence to the web. Of course the digital version only has some of the newspaper’s articles and features.
Forbes.com – Long known for their famous “lists” of the top moneymakers, the online resources are just as informative and timely. You’ll find articles on lifestyle, the market, leadership, entrepreneurs, and of course “lists.”
Fool.com – The Motley Fool is a popular commercial website about stocks, investing, and personal finance. Mostly known for its investing advice and stock market research. Tagline: To Educate, Amuse and Enrich.
BizJournals.com – Publisher of the business journals and newspapers around the country. Provides the latest business information and news from across the United States. Contains small business news, real estate news, events listings and information on sales and marketing.
Barrons.com – Long established as one of the premier financial magazines now has the same respected information available on the Internet. Contains sections on news and commentary, portfolio, funds questions and answers, stocks picks and pans and a section on technology.
Bankrate.com – An often-quoted news source with the latest news, tips and advice to compare mortgage rates, home equity loans, CDs, car loans, credit cards and money market accounts.
