Published Authors Among Web Site Hosts

October 8, 2003 - These days anyone with a keyboard and an Internet connection can post their words on a web site. But at BellaOnline, the number two women's web site as ranked by Alexa, the proof is in the...publishing!

BellaOnline is composed of hosts who possess a deep love and vast knowledge of their topics and enjoy helping others. Now these hosts are sharing this expertise with the world outside the Internet, as well. In recent months many Bella hosts have become published authors, writing about topics as diverse as homeschooling, unplanned pregnancy and computer software programming.

Longtime BellaOnline host Terrie Bittner is the author of "Homeschooling for the Timid, the Disorganized, and Other Real People", which is being released by Maple Tree Publishing in Spring 2004. Sheri Stritof, Bella's Budget Travel Host, has written a book entitled "The Everything Great Marriage Book", available through Adams Media Corporation. Teen Host Dorrie Williams-Wheeler is the author of "The Unplanned Pregnancy Handbook", as well of "Sparkledoll Always Into Something", available through Publish America. Sandra Eggers, Bella's Computer Careers Host, has two books out as well: "How To Get Started in Computer Software Programming", which is available through Intellectua.com, and "Finding a Job Online", available through OurMailNet.com.

Not to be outdone, several other Bella Hosts have had their written work featured in books. Lisani of Bella's Paper Crafts site has her work featured in "Altered Books, Collaborative Journals and Other Adventures in Bookmaking", which is available through Amazon.com. Paul Laurita, Library Host, has an article on Bibliotherapy being published soon in "Today's Catholic Teacher".
