Africa has some of the oldest cultures in the world. Kenya is known as "The Cradle of Civilization" because of the early tools and cave paintings found. The oldest human skeleton "Lucy" was discovered in 1974 in Ethiopia is said to be over 3 million years old. Over two thirds of the population of Benin practice voodoo and have done so for over 500 years making Benin "The Birthplace of Voodoo".

Keep up with new articles and reviews here at the African Culture site at BellaOnline.com. Approximately every week, I will send out a short newsletter announcing the latest article about African Culture. We all have busy and hectic lives so I'll try to keep the newsletter short and you will know when to check the African Culture site for new information.

Do you want to:

Know more about African cultures?

Learn about African countries?

Know more about African history?

Make a new African recipe?

Read a good book about Africa?

Listen to African music?

Learn about animals in Africa?

Celebrate an African holiday?

Read about African tribes?

And More...

To sign up, look to the right of this article. You will see a box labeled "Free Newsletter". Type in your email address and you’re done. You won’t be unexpectedly required to tell us even more about yourself after you click. Your information won’t be sold or shared, and even I won’t know who signed up unless your newsletter bounces and your internet service provider sends me a bounce notice. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Once you sign up, you will receive a confirmation notice. This just lets you know if your spam filter is letting the African Culture newsletter through. If you don’t get one, you’ll want to white list us.

So, karibu, kwaniriza, welkom, wukuungulusya, yamkela, and welcome to the African Culture Newsletter and Site!

Feel free to make any comments about articles or anything African on the African Culture forum or email via my bio page.
