Want to keep up with the latest news and information on AIDS / HIV? Subscribe to our newsletter and get the details delivered right to you! To sign up, look for the Free Newsletter box on the right side of the page. Type in your email address, click the blue button with a right arrow and you’re signed up! My next newsletter will be in your email box on Tuesday. Please check your email and be sure that you received a confirmation email from me. That tells us that your spam filter isn’t blocking us. If it does go to your spam folder, add us to your address book or contact list.
The weekly newsletter is filled with helpful information about HIV/AIDS at BellaOnline. Features will include current articles, sweepstakes being offered through the website, help and information, resources, and possibly exclusive profiles of people living with HIV or professionals in the field. There will also be articles on HIV prevention – both for the HIV negative person and the HIV positive person. Education is the key to stop the transmission of HIV, so you can look for that here.
You are vital to this site, so I’d like to know what you want to read about. Use the contact form to send me a note. It may take me a while to research and write an article to answer your question, but I’ll do my best to do it in a timely fashion. If for some reason I can’t – for example, it’s something that requires a medical diagnosis – I’ll respond and let you know that. I’ll try to offer resources, if I can.
I won’t send you spam, I won’t share your email address with anyone else for any purpose. In fact, I don’t even have access to your email address. BellaOnline values your privacy and we take that seriously. You can also unsubscribe at any time. There are directions in each newsletter telling you how to do that.
I’ve been a volunteer at an HIV/AIDS organization off and on for years, both a “front line” volunteer working with clients and as a board member. Professionally, I now work in an HIV/AIDS organization and have also worked in a family planning agency where they did HIV work. In addition to my primary role in communications, I am a certified HIV test counselor.
There is frequently new information in the world of HIV and I’ll pass along the best of it. Sign up for the newsletter and stay in the loop!
