Thank you so much for your interest in my newsletter! Did you know that Beethoven was born the year after Napoleon? Were you aware that Renaissance music was polyphonic? Who is the ‘Gregory’ immortalized in the title ‘Gregorian Chant’, and what makes this kind of music important? The answer to these and to other questions can be found in the content of my site.

Classical music is one of my great loves, and I am very excited to share my passion with you. My articles will give you information about the great composers’s lives and creations. They will speak to you about important works to discover on YouTube and listen to on CD or MP3. They will also share with you information about music festivals and performances. Whether you are looking to develop a classical music collection, to attend this year’s Festival Mozaic in San Luis Obispo, California, or to research specific musicians, you will find on this site the content you crave.

The history of classical music is of particular interest to me, and I look forward to sharing that interest with you. The music of the Middle Ages and Renaissance is beautiful and different. The Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Modern periods all share intellectual ideas with the history of the time. I’d love to share with you how music has grown and changed over the centuries, and where it is going now. My newsletter will alert you to new content and to new discussions in the forum section of my site.

If you are looking for a community to discuss this interest with, the forum is a great place to explore. You can share your comments, ideas, and questions. Requests for information will let me know what kind of articles to research and write. You can also contact me with these requests; there is a ‘contact’ link provided for that very purpose.

Please consider signing up for the newsletter. You’ll get updates on content added to the site. You can rest assured that signing up for this newsletter will not clutter your email box with spam. Your email address will never – never, ever – be shared, exchanged, or sold. Your anonymity will remain secure; even I don’t know the email addresses of those who receive the newsletter.

Please remember to make sure that your anti-spam filters allow you to receive email from BellaOnline.com. You will receive a test message when you sign up. If this does not come to you, please contact me and let me know.

I am looking forward to sharing my love of classical music with you!
