Ergonomics Newsletter

Ergonomics offers solutions to problems people face in the physical universe. In other words, ergonomics seeks to make things easier for people, to create tools and techniques that naturally fit the human form and human ways of thought. Ergonomics can simplify your life.

If you haven’t signed up for the Ergonomics Newsletter, this is a great time to do so. You can be the first to read new articles about Ergonomics issues and solutions.Tools and techniques designed to create a more ergonomic environment will be reviewed. Book and article reviews will also be included. You will have the opportunity to suggest subjects of special interest to you.

Go to the bella online Ergonomics site (http://www.bellaonline.com/site/ergonomics ). On the Right of the page, just under the FORUM and CONTACT buttons is a place to enter your e-mail address. Enter the address you would like the newsletters sent to and click on the blue arrow. Also, there is a link to the newsletter sign-up at the bottom of each article. Either link takes you to a page explaining Bella’s internet and privacy policies, and your sign-up is completed.

When you sign up for a bellaonline newsletter, your e-mail address and name are kept highly confidential. They are never shared with anyone for any purpose but only to get the newsletter to your inbox.

Newsletters should arrive about every two weeks – sometimes more often. After you sign-up, if you don’t start receiving them, check your spam filter and make sure they are not being marked as spam.

This is a busy time of year. Kids are going back to school, families are returning from vacation, and the days are getting shorter. Basic Ergonomic Tips for now include:
• Get enough sleep.
• If you feel yourself getting harried, STOP. Take a deep breath, hold for 5 seconds, and slowly release it. Let the breath take all the tensions of the day with it as it leaves you and floats away.
• Remember to take care of yourself. Re-set priorities if you need to.

Have a GREAT September!
