Hello folks and welcome to the Folklore site at BellaOnline.

My name is Phyllis and I will be your editor for this site. I will include new content each week with an article which I will give you information on or a link to. You will be informed of any upcoming events around the country that will be of interest to folklore lovers everywhere. You will find out what is happening in the Folklore forum and can sign up there for free also.

To sign up, look to the right of this article and find the box that says Free Newsletter. Type in your email address and that is it! You not be asked fo any more information about yourself. Your information will never be sold or shared. Even I will not know who you are unless your newsletter bounces and your ISP sends me a bounce notice. You will be able to unsubscribe at any time, but I do hope you will remain on the list to find out all the wonderful things going on with folklore.

When you sing up, you will receive a confirmation notice in your own email. This will let you know that your spam filter is working by letting us through. If you do not get the confirmation, you will want to make sure we are on your 'white list'. You will receive only my newsletter twice a month on Wednesdays. You may sign up for a newsletter from any site on BellaOnline.

The Folklore site at BellaOnline will be full of wonderful information, all about Folklore! You will find current events listed from around the world, news, stories, superstitions, folklore rememdies from ages past, poems and songs from folks and just about anything you can think of that relates to the Folklore of the lands.

In our Forum you will be able to chat with other lovers of Folklore, share stories and experiences from attending festivals and craft shows, learn from other readers about their own local legends and tales and ask for or give advice on folklore issues and be sure to visit our "Front Porch Folk", sit a spell and spin a yarn. You can sign up anytime for free to post in the forum. Once you sign up, you may visit and post in any forum at BellaOnline.

Again, thank you for visiting, and y'all come back now! You are always most welcome.

Blessings,
Phyllis Burns
