Whether you call it Chai, Ch’a, te’, the’, or just tea, I’ll help you to start a journey into the discovery of all things tea. Tea is rooted in many cultures, nationaliteas, and societeas.

From the humble beginnings of what tea was some 5,000 years ago to what it is today, and its significance and impact on our world. It is long associated with that of legends, kings, nobles, lords and ladies. Tea has a great richness. It is a part of custom, and culture. Tea represents traditional welcoming hospitality and often a means conveying friendship. It has a place in art and religion in some parts of the world.

Tea, is rich in etiquette, and high society is often considered only for the rich and famous and is sometimes synonymous with gossip. Take a journey with me from England to France, to India to Sri Lanka, to China, to Japan, and all the way to new trendy Tea Houses in New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago. As we delve into a bit of history, and long standing family recipes. From the newest in tea pots and tea ware, to grown up tea parties and new traditions made.

We will also explore the beneficial aspects of tea. The properties associated with the newest of trends in teas and their benefits as well. Herbal teas and sleepy time teas, teas for colds, teas to help digestion, there are many to choose from now. We will continue to explore the processing, brewing, and the making of the perfect cup of tea. We will learn and explore all things unique to tea.
