The Amber Alert was born out of the horrific kidnapping and murder of Amber Hagerman in Arlington, Texas. Although, Amber's killer remains elusive, this has not stopped Donna (Whitson) Norris, Amber’s mom, from crusading for the program that has helped safely recover 554 abducted children.
