About the BellaOnline Missing and Exploited Children Editor

Erika Lyn Smith is a freelance author, photographer, and creative artist. Currently, Erika works as a Behavioral Medicine RN in a hospital based crisis stabilization unit with adults. Erika has over 12 years working with children and adolescents in both a long term residential care setting and hospital based crisis stabilization unit. Erika Lyn Smith is a child safety advocate who writes online about the dangers our children face every day, especially with the advancements in electronic media.

Erika has two websites: ErikaLynSmith.com (A plethora of miscellaneous writings or ramblings) and ErikaLynSmith.net (where you can see her art and photography gallery). She is also the Topic Editor and Featured Writer for Suite101’s Forensic Science website. In the past, Erika was BellaOnline´s Crime and ADD Editor for many years, as well as the Non-Fiction Team Leader for Mused.
