It's important to know and understand that natural perfumes that are made with essential oils, absolutes and attars, are not the same as commercial perfumes. Commercial perfumes have a tendency to be heavy laden with alcohol. Essential oil based perfumes will evolve with your skin after you apply it. Each note, be it top, middle or base will rise as it becomes one with the heat of your body.
Commercial perfumes are highly synthetic in its makeup and will give a bold impact when first applied. Natural perfumes are more subtle and will fade more quickly. However, because they are created to enhance your natural essence, you might pass someone hours later and they will pick up the beauty of your scent.
Creating a layering affect by applying a body oil, lotion or body butter before you apply your perfume, will also provide an opportunity for your natural blend to last a bit longer.

When looking for a way to wear your special blended perfume, you can create them in several forms. You have oil-based, solid/waxed based, roll-on or mist.
Getting to know how to blend essential oils and coming up with the perfect blend can take years of training. So, if you decide this is the route you'd like to take, be patient with yourself and learn everything you can to become extremely good at becoming the best at what you do.
On the other hand, if you don't have the patience, hire a professional and know that you will have a custom blend, made just for you and your personal body chemistry.
