How to Mentally Refresh Your Mind, Body and Spirit
Do you need to mentally Refresh your mind, body and spirit? After a year of COVID, a "Refresh" is probably top of mind. Let's face it, for some, COVID was a wake up call. You promised yourself you'd take every opportunity given to take care of yourself. For others it took you deeper into an already spiraling tunnel.

How Do You Mentally Refresh Your Mind, Body and Spirit?

Visits With Mother Nature - One of the simplest ways too mentally refresh is to sit with Mother Nature. Think I'm kidding? Your backyard, a walking trail that's in a nature filled environment or beautiful botanical garden will work wonders as an opportunity to calm your mind.

Want to take it a step further? Plan a trip to one of the many natural wonders. The Grand Canyon, the Rocky Mountains, Big Sur or Machu Picchu, to name a few. Walking and biking tours can be scheduled. While you might find yourself as part of a group, (safety in numbers, in such environments) there are ways too detach.

When taking a break, you can sit and meditate. Often times the trip itself is a mental Refresh for your mind, body and spirit. A change of scenery will do that for you.

A Hotel Stay - Not every "Refresh" has to be so elaborate. Two-day get-a-ways can work wonders for you. A weekend stay in a nice hotel- four star preferably, no less than three - will do it every time for short stints. They allow you to step outside of your normal space and move into an environment that's meant to wind you down.

Hotels often give you the feeling of escaping, winding down and having you feeling refreshed when you leave.

Experience New Things - Experiencing new things can help you grow. Learning a new skill takes you out of your comfort zone and allows you to grow at the same time. How to make medicinal tea or aromatherapy jewelry. Better yet, beekeeping, yoga or classes in sound healing are all new experiences that help to Refresh your mind, body and spirit.

Creating a Personal Journey

A mental refresh for your mind, body and spirit is a personal journey. One that's meant for you to grow from the experience. As you can see from the suggestions, it doesn't have to be complicated.

You're in charge. The key is to begin and everything will fall into place as it should. Finding balance in mind, body and spirit is crucial. Finding a way to Refresh, is just as crucial.
