Autumn Aromatics, What Tops Your Good Scent List?

Autumn Aromatics, What Tops Your Good Scent List?
Autumn aromatics, the time of year when you sense the change of smell in the air. From clear, crisp, aromas, too poignant familiars, you know the air has changed.

Designers use this time of year to introduce you to their new blends. They're hoping they will take them through the last quarter into successful holiday sales.

Louis Vuitton has a suite of perfumes being showcased this fall, Les Extraits. With the creation of a flacon by Frank Gehry and the ultimate perfumer's blend by Cavallier Belletrud, Les Extraits was born.

This perfume is alive with jasmine grandiflorum, calabrian bergamot, poppies from Peru and oudh from Bangladesh. With hints of citrus and spice that segues its way into vanilla and woods, the blend takes flight as if lifted by the wind.

Alien Goddess is another perfume to become part of the Autumn aromatics scents this year. You'll see Willow Smith as the "Face". If you delve deeply into the blend itself, you will experience the intoxicating blend of bergamot from Italy, luscious Jasmine from India and Vanilla from Madagascar.

This is a really good one that gives you depth and presence at the same time. Yes, the florals are alive, yet the vanilla is grounding at the same time.

Autumn Aromatics Are Not Limited to Perfumes

When designers introduce you to their Autumn scent blends, they will often have a scented candle, body wash or lotion as part of a gift set.

It's a great way to try a new scent blend for yourself. You have an opportunity to immerse yourself in the scent from a complete olfactory experience. Candles might not be available, but a body wash and body lotion are definitely part of a good gift set.

You might also find a company offering different perfumes from a given designer. Three to five samples sizes is typical. Another combination for gift sets is perfume and lipstick.

Whatever the offering ...

It's Autumn. With Autumn comes new scent blends. What do you have in mind for this season? Will it be something new or something that you've tried for years and you know works for you?
