Waxing--Keeps your lustre and shine between washes

Waxing--Keeps your lustre and shine between washes
We here, in the Northeast have been experiencing above normal rainfall. We all know what constant driving in the rain does to our vehicle's lustre and shine. Just the other day, we had a touch of the latest hurricane from down south and we had ALOT of rain for 2 straight days! I had to drive to work both days and this really takes a toll on my car as far as my shine and lustre. My tire shine was completely stripped and there was a dull gray film all over my car--the most of it was on the lower area. It looked really dirty--like I hadn't washed my car in months. I wondered why all my waxing and polishing didn't deter this from happening to my car. The first thing I did was went straight to the car wash and sprayed the car with soap, then spray wax and then I rinsed. Lo and behold--there was my lustre and shine--I thought I was going to have to drive my car a couple more days with that gray film on it. I knew that waxing and polishing was one way to protect my finish but I had NO idea that underneath all that film and dirt was my shine and deep dark lustre. Even my rims were beaming again! I am always learning something new in this business and I just have to share this with you. I spend more than the average person detailing my car because I MAKE the time--my car is my livelyhood--I drive alot! I like knowing that what I do is not a waste of time. I like knowing that the products I use and recommend are effective and I love the way my car looks as a result of my labor of love.

By waxing your car and polishing it in between waxes, that road film, dirt and dust that adheres to your cars can be washed off by just spraying a little soap and liquid spray wax at your local car wash. I did, however have to reapply the tire shine. I just simply sprayed it on pat the excess off and drove away. Till next time, keep it shiny!
