Master The Art Of Feeling Good (Part 7)

Master The Art Of Feeling Good (Part 7)
Seven Steps To Mastery

  1. BE IN TOUCH WITH YOUR FEELINGS. In order to improve the way you feel, you must be aware of your feelings. Feelings are feedback on how you’re doing in mastering the art of feeling good. Learning to raise your own consciousness is a skill much like learning to play beautiful music on a fine musical instrument. The difference is YOU are the instrument. So you can practice anytime, any place.

  2. KNOW WHAT THOUGHTS MAKE YOU FEEL GOOD. Remembering wonderful times and accomplishments, looking forward to exciting impending events, noticing what pleases you in the here and now, listening to your favorite music, watching movies or specific scenes you love, creating fun fantasies in your imagination – find out what thoughts turn you on.

  3. LEARN TO RAISE YOUR MENTAL VIBRATIONS. “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” Take that first baby step to feeling good. No matter how bad you’re feeling, you can always soften it. Thoughts like “this too shall pass – it always has,” can be the first step on your journey to creating good feeling mental vibrations.

  4. SELECTIVELY CHOOSE YOUR THOUGHTS. You have choices. Feeling bad because of guilt, fear, jealousy, blame or revenge is never worth it. Each of us has plenty of thought possibilities. You’ll want to keep practicing choosing thoughts that make you feel at least a little bit better. Being responsible for raising your own consciousness is a skill well worth developing.

  5. CREATE AN EMPOWERING STORY. Is the glass half empty of half full? Which way you choose to look at your circumstances makes all the difference in how you feel. With practice you can learn to find the good in absolutely everything – even a seemingly empty glass.

  6. SURROUND YOURSELF WITH THE BEST. Learning to feel good under difficult circumstances is an extremely valuable skill. And, as you get better and better at it, your circumstances will naturally improve - good feelings just naturally attract good feeling circumstances. However, whenever you can, you’ll want to put yourself around the people, places and things that help to make you feel good. After all, if it’s your choice, why not?

  7. PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE. When Jascha Heifetz, world famous violinist, was stopped on the streets of New York City and asked “How do you get to Carnegie Hall?” he answered simply, “Practice, practice, practice!” And, there is nothing more worth developing, and therefore more worth practicing, than the art of feeling good.
