Slow Cooked Barbecued Spareribs
Slow Cooked Barbecued Spareribs- 1 medium onion
- 2 T. margerine
- 1/2 cup celery
- 1 cup ketchup
- 3/4 cup water
- 2 T. vinegar
- 2 T. lemon juice
- 2 T. Worstershire Sauce
- 2 T. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. prepared yellow mustard
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2-1/2 to 3 lbs. country style pork spareribs
Preparation - Process all the ingredients, except the spareribs, in a blender or a food processsor to create a sauce. Place the spareribs in a crock-pot. Pour the sauce over top. Cover and cook on high for about 1 hour. Turn to low and cook for 5 to 6 hours.
