Crispy Peanut Butter Logs Recipe

Crispy Peanut Butter Log Treats

Here's an easy no-bake recipe for a tasty peanut butter snack that kids will love. They're a great lunch time or after school treat.


  • 1/2 cup chunky peanut butter
  • ! T. margarine, softened
  • 2/3 cup Confectioners' sugar
  • 1-1/2 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 1/2 cup chopped unsalted peanuts

Preparation -
In a mixing bowl, beat the chunky peanut butter and softened margarine together. Add the Confectioners' sugar and mix until well-blended. Add the crispy rice cereal and mix well. Divide the mixture in half. Shape each half into a log about 1-1/4" in diameter. Roll each log in chopped peanuts. Wrap each log in parchment paper or waxed paper. Refrigerate the wrapped logs for at least one hour or until chilled and firm. Unwrap the logs and cut into 1/2" to 3/4" thick slices.
