Adobe Plus Membership Review
Plus is an annual paid membership that gives you 20 GB of online storage where you can organize and back up your photos and videos. Because it is all online, you can synch your Plus account with any and all of your computers and updates to your media files are synced across computers. Of course, you will want to share your masterpieces. You can create public and private online albums with cool-looking Flash-based interactive navigation and special effects.
Besides the 20 GB of online storage, you also have access to a "members only" library of easy-to-use tutorials, themes, Flash based special effects, frames, backgrounds, fonts, sounds and more. You will also find new motion graphics, transitions and movie themes to use with Premiere's InstantMovie feature. With the Plus library of inspirational goodies, you can create your own OOAK projects from your photos and videos.
The Elements Organizer is your gateway to your Plus resources. More resources are added regularly so you always have something new to inspire your creativity or expand your skills. Once you start a photo, video or mixed media project, you will see thumbnails for all the themes, templates and other resources. The Plus resources are marked with a golden ribbon and can be downloaded into the workspace as you need them.
From the Elements Organizer you will get helpful popup message pods suggesting new tips, tricks and tutorials which you can access through the Elements Inspiration Browser. Again, you will know the Plus tutorials by the golden ribbons. You can search for tutorials based on type or category and save your favorite tutorials. You can even submit your own tutorials.
You can sign up for Plus when you purchase Photoshop Elements 8, Premiere Elements 8 or the bundle. If you've already purchased the software, you can add Plus at any time.
