Zazzle Print On Demand
Print on demand is a very popular way to monetize your artwork and one of these print on demand websites is Zazzle®. I have had a store on Zazzle for many years and over those years Zazzle has evolved in to a very versatile marketplace. It is a combination of a storefront for selling your artwork and an online design tool for the customer to create their own customized product using your artwork. Zazzle has a large number of products for their print on demand process.
Let's discuss your store on Zazzle. First, you can have several stores on Zazzle or just one store. It depends on your own preferences and the amount of art that you wish to sell. For example, maybe you have a small amount of artwork that would look great on greeting cards and pillows. One option would be to sell them in only one store. In that case, you probably would have a category for greeting cards and another category for pillows.
On the other hand, maybe you have so much artwork to sell that selling just cards and pillows in one store would be limiting. In that case, you can have one store for home goods such as pillows, mugs, magnets and coasters. In a second store, you could sell greeting cards, as well as note cards, rubber stamps, wrapping paper, stickers and gift tags.
Zazzle has thousands of products, from pillows to mugs, including the following.
Home, Sports and Games
Clothing and Accessories
Invitations and Stationary
Art, Crafts and Party Supplies
Office and School
Electronics
Baby and Kids
Weddings
The process to upload your artwork and apply it to a product isn't complicated. Your first step is to open a store, which is free. Next, you begin to create products for your store. Each product that you create is called a template. The creator, that's you, simply uploads the artwork and the online design editor applies the artwork on to the template. The final step is when a customer chooses to purchase one of your templates, which the customer can then customize further, such as changing the inside message on a greeting card.
