Hot giardiniera is a great goodness when it is used on sandwiches and salads. This diced veggie condiment is packed in oil and gives a punch of flavor to anything that you put it on. Giardiniera is widely used in the Chicago area, but not well known elsewhere. I love it, and it is now a staple in our household.
