*Store bought meatballs come in handy. The Swedish style meatballs are
quite versatile. These small meatballs are already cooked, though not
really browned. Of course, you can use them to make Swedish meatballs in
sauce. Or bring to a simmer in spaghetti sauce, but you can also spice
them up with barbecue sauce. Just brown the meatballs in a small amount of
vegetable oil, add red pepper flakes to your heat level, and then add your
favorite barbecue sauce along with some cold water to thin the sauce.
Simmer to a low boil and serve.

*Homemade iced tea or lemonade are always enjoyable with hot and spicy
foods, but can be hard to sweeten and you may have the gritty sugar dregs
on the bottom of the glass. Make your own sugar syrup and keep it in your
refrigerator, you will have an instant sweetener. Use 2 cups granulated
white sugar to 1-¾ cups of water. Boil in a large saucepan, stirring well.
Bring mixture to a boil continue stirring until sugar dissolves. Allow to
cool then pour into bottle or jar, refrigerate and use to sweeten drinks,
etc
