One of my all-time favorite hymns is Just As I Am. I have found the hymn wonderfully akin to my state as a sinner sometimes, and has refreshed me and cheered me up by showing me how the Lord's provision is always there, for every sort of sinner in the world and that I do not have to do anything to receive His grace and forgiveness. some days back, i wondered who wrote the hymn and what situation he/she wrote it in. That is how i came to find out about Charlotte Elliott, the writer of that hymn. This is a brief account of her life.
