I've been gratified to see that this site has readers from all over the world, and that leads me to consider all the different cultural viewpoints of marriage. Whether you agree or not, arranged marriages exist today. While Americans find this notion antiquated and abhorrent, many still adhere to this cultural or religious tradition which can have surprisingly happy results.
