Irish Brown Bread
Many readers have asked for the recipe for Irish Brown Bread. It´s not so long ago that I wouldn´t have been able to help them, as the flour was hard to get outside of Ireland. Now it´s easily acquired!

The brown bread is ubiquitous all over Ireland, and just delicious with butter, cheese, butter and jam, or as described in the article as the foundation for a great salmon appetizer!

Now that the EU has altered the playing field and there are loads of exotic goodies turning up in Ireland, Irish chefs are outdoing themselves in kitchens all over Ireland, but we shouldn't forget the wholesome staples that have nourished so many generations. Enjoy the simplicity and goodness of a loaf of brown bread soon!
