Halloween – Are Ghosts Real?

A 2007 poll found that about a third of Americans believe in ghosts. But why? I would venture to say that many have had some kind of spooky experience they can’t otherwise explain. Others probably add a credulous belief in ghosts to their heartfelt conviction that Elvis is still alive.

From my heart to yours

Last week’s article was on Halloween, too. But on to other subjects next week! We have had our first snow, but thankfully it didn’t last the day. A snowshoe hare has made his appearance in my backyard, and a funny appearance it is, too. A brown bunny with white feet and snow white ears, he's too cute.

I’m getting geared up to participate in NaNoWriMo, which stands for National Novel Writing Month. Thousands of possibly unbalanced people across the country attempt to write a 50,000 word novel in November. I actually did it in 2008. Last year I didn’t manage to reach my goal, but I’m seriously determined this year. I’ll let you know how that goes…
