Dealing with Stress as a Bahá'í
Life is stressful, and here's how I'm trying to deal with it, with a little help from my friends and the Bahá'í Faith.

Somehow, I never expect good stuff to be stressful, but even happiness can take its toll on energy reserves. Presently, at our house, we are planning for a trip to New Zealand, which is the first long vacation we have ever taken in 15 years of marriage. It is not entirely vacating, of course, as my husband plans to attend a conference and meet a number of his online colleagues face to face for business reasons.

But still. It's a long way, costs a good deal of money, and requires packing -- which for me is always a challenge. Packing requires decisions, not the least of which is having faith that I don't need to plan for every possible contingency, LOL. Otherwise, I'd need the whole 747 just for my luggage!

The other part of planning has to do with household and business continuity, not just who will water my plants, but other responsibilities also, such as how I will keep all of my BellaOnline readers informed when weekly articles come out, i.e., this newsletter.

So, the plan is that the articles are already written and will appear on the website weekly on Saturdays, and I will sign on when possible from wherever we are to update the forum and send the newsletter. Maybe I'll figure out how to include pictures! But, since Internet access can be uncertain, the newsletter might not make it to your inbox every Saturday....although I plan to have interesting excuses for your reading entertainment! :D

So from October 23 through November 13, don't wait for this newsletter to remind you that there is a new article up on bahai.bellaonline.com !

And watch for pix and commentary -- maybe you could share advice and recommend places to see while we are in NZ? -- on the community forum located here -
