candle holder and place votive candles inside. Finish the center
pieces with some grape vines or fall leaves.

Holiday cookie recipe

Spritz Cookies


1 cup softened butter (real butter works best)
1 cup granulated sugar
1 egg yolk
2 tablespoons orange juice
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon orange or lemon rind grated

Combine ingredients in a bowl and refrigerate for
at least 2-3 hours or overnight. If you have
a cookie press you can choose from a variety
of different designs. If not you can press
dough balls with the bottom of textured items
such as a meat tenderizer or decorative glass.
Sprinkle with choice of colored sugars.

Bake at 350 for 10 - 12 minutes
