Personal and family emergencies have demanded my attention and so I apologize for having to resort to posting some old articles for the past two weeks. But you may have missed them since they were from my first stint as marriage editor three years ago. This one seems timely as our strained economy is slow to recover. And for those of you who will inquire out of caring curiosity and consideration: I woke up in a pool of blood and am awaiting biopsy results. Care-taking of an elderly relative with early signs of dementia is proving emotionally challenging as well. My adult daughter is doing as well as can be expected. And we're rushing a home renovation! Phew!
