“All the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, and fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, saying: "Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom, Thanksgiving and honor and power and might, Be to our God forever and ever. Amen.” Revelation 7:11-12

Thanksgiving Day with or without Choirs

I was thrilled the day I discovered a by-the-way comment in Nehemiah, about choirs. I’m a choir director, and reading that choirs and choir directors had been around since King David warmed my heart. Nehemiah organized two large thanksgiving choirs, which brings us around to today's topic.

From my heart to yours

I told you snow was inevitable. Well, now it’s ineveryplace. That was really bad, wasn’t it? Blame my Dad, and my husband come to think of it, for teaching me to always go for the laugh, even if you only end up getting a groan. We do really have snow, just enough to be pretty, not enough to interfere or need plowed. Yet. Looks like a Currier and Ives print outside, so beautiful in a palette of dark green, black, and white. Amazing.
