From a notable archaeologist to a lone Indian on horseback, many across the country worked years for simply a day of recognition for American Indians. With a whole month of recognition, there may be an event near you. If you do attend a cultural event or gathering this month, please share your experience with us in the forum.
If you are a teacher or home schooler, we have a link to 12 lesson plans and activities for all grades. November is a great time of year to introduce children to American Indian Heritage!

Be sure to forward this to friends and family who work with children. It's so helpful to have new and engaging lesson plans and activities for the young ones.
We're getting ready for a busy, busy month, but always feel free to contact me with questions, feedback, and comments. You can reply to this email, or visit my Bio page on the website. Until next time, it's November, learn and share something "Indian," and always
