I love poetry and when I read Exodus 19:4 few days ago, the beautiful poetic expression that God uses to describe His deliverance of Israel on eagle’s wings captured my attention and lingered on. Eagle is a bird that is often associated with strength and references to the eagle are found in other chapters of the Bible. But as I continued to dwell on this verse, I began to appreciate my own deliverance in Christ through this beautiful expression. As you read this devotion, I pray that you may let God carry you above every trouble and bring you to rest in Him!
