Hello!

This week's article is a book review of "The Life of Elizabeth I" by noted historical writer Alison Weir.

If you think you know all there is to know about the queen who ushered England into the Renaissance, you may be surprised!

This historical biography of Elizabeth I covers the life and times of Elizabeth from her ascendance to the throne to her death. It wasn't until I immersed myself in Ms. Weir's work that I realized my understanding of Elizabeth and England during this time was sorely lacking.

Here's the latest article from the Renaissance site at BellaOnline.com.

"No English sovereign, before or since, has so captured the imagination of his or her people or so roused their patriotic feelings." - Alison Weir
