Quick and Easy Sandwich Meals for Busy People

This week your article and Sandwiches Newsletter are a day early. I will probably do the same thing next week to avoid sending out a newsletter on a holiday.

I hope that you enjoyed the pinwheel sandwiches from last week. I wanted to make the sweet pinwheels this week, but real life interfered. First, I ran out of cream cheese and tortillas. Then, I ran out of tasters! My tasting crew came down with a virus and nobody wanted to taste sweet pinwheels. So, instead of sweet pinwheels, here is the answer to a reader request.

Lori posted in the Forum that she would like some easy meals using sandwiches. I combed through the Archives and found different types of sandwiches. Then, I listed soups and sides that pair well with each sandwich. As always, feel free to use your creativity and favorite recipes for your outstanding short-cut meals. Don't forget to tell us about them in the Sandwiches Forum.

Life can be hectic at times, but there's no need to eat tasteless food. By pairing a great sandwich with a tasty soup or side dish, you can have the basis for a good meal. Add some fruit and a beverage, and you have an easy meal to satisfy your body and spirit.
