Over the past few weeks, I have encountered some poetry that has been more difficult to read than others. I began to think about how to interpret the poems and how to make sense of them. After analyzing my technique, I began to realize that reading poetry is really like sitting down for a five course meal. While the process is enjoyable, it takes some patience and time. You can read what I found in the latest article from the Poetry site at BellaOnline.com.
Why is Poetry so hard to understand?
Reading poetry is akin to eating a five course meal. It can be a pleasantly satisfying experience when consumed in small portions.
